The Story Behind

We’re two long‑time pharmacists—friends since Addis Ababa University—who’ve spent 20+ years helping people make sense of medicines and health choices, from classes in Addis to neighborhoods across the U.S. Somewhere between late‑night calls from family and quick consults in the pharmacy aisle, we realized: people don’t need more hype; they need calm, plain‑spoken guidance they can trust.

So we hit record. Smart Health Podcast is where we pour those years into real‑life conversations—what works, what doesn’t, and what to ask your own care team. We unpack the science without the jargon, share stories from the counter and the lab, and invite guests who teach (not preach). Think of it like a friendly consult with two pharmacists who’ve seen a lot and still love learning.

You’ll hear us:

  • Break down studies into simple takeaways you can try today.

  • Compare options honestly—cost, side effects, convenience.

  • Bust myths and sort trends from evidence.

  • Celebrate small wins, because small steps stack up.

If you’ve ever stood in front of the pharmacy shelf wondering, “Which one is actually right for me?”—welcome. Pull up a chair.
